More than three decades ago, Dean and Prayeri Harrison founded Out of Africa Wildlife Park with a simple but powerful mission: rescue animals in need and give them a better life.
Today, that mission lives on through Out of Africa Wildlife Sanctuary, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing lifelong care for animals in need.
At the sanctuary, animals live in expansive, natural-style habitats where they can roam freely and receive expert veterinary care, proper nutrition, and emotional enrichment.
Through education, research, and community outreach, we aim to inspire a deeper connection to nature and promote stewardship of wildlife and wild places. Our work ensures these incredible animals—and the wild world they represent—can be experienced and protected for generations to come.
